［本站讯］10月9日至10日，第四届高速加工国际会议ICHSM’2010 ——The 4th International Conference on High Speed Machining在广州市广东工业大学召开。长江学者、山东大学机械学院黄传真教授参加会议并作了题为“Key Position and Function of Cutting Tool In High Speed Machining System”的大会主题报告，机械学院刘战强教授、赵军教授、刘含莲教授参加会议并分别担任三个分会场主席。
    会议期间，黄传真教授担任大会副主席以及大会主题报告的部分主持任务。很多参会代表对黄传真教授精彩的报告内容非常关注，并在会后表达出合作意向。刘战强教授、赵军教授、刘含莲教授分别担任了Section A：Mechanism & Processing和Section B：Cutter & Device & CAD/CAE/CAM分会场主席。山东大学机械学院参会教师及研究生在各分会场分别宣读了《Research on Thermodynamic Characteristics in High-Speed Machining System》、《Machinability of FGH95 PM superalloy》、《An experimental study on rough ball-end milling of T10A steel》、《Experimental investigation on tool wear when end-milling Inconel 718 with coated carbide inserts》、《Tools optimization in efficient intermittent cutting of 2.25Cr1Mo0.25V steel》、《Aeroacoustic performance evaluation of milling cutters based on the flow field on the cutter surface》、《Optimization of cutting parameters for desirable surface roughness in end-milling hardened AISI H13 steel under a certain metal removal rate》、《Progressive Tool Failure in High Speed End Milling of Inconel 718 with Coated Carbide Inserts》、《The analysis of saw-tooth chip formation in high speed machining through material micro-hardness measurement》等九篇学术论文，并就相关内容与参会的各国专家学者进行了充分交流。机械学院有关学者和多名研究生以及来自中国、西班牙、日本、印度、加拿大、德国、澳大利亚的近200名国内外专家、学者、知名企业代表参加了会议。
    通过参加本次学术会议，加强了机械学院学者与海内外知名学者的交流，进一步提高了山东大学在高速加工领域的学术影响力。据悉，第五届高速加工国际会议将于2012年在山东大学召开。 ]
