三、摘要：

For a graph, let be the independence number of . In this talk, we show some results on spanning trees with a bounded number of leaves in a graph. In particular, we prove that if is a 2-connected -free graph with , then it contains a spanning tree with at most leaves, where and are two integers with and . Examples show that the upper bound on is sharp.

四、主讲人简介：

胡智全，华中师范大学数理学院教授，博士生导师，中国运筹学会理事，主要研究方向为结构图论，2001年于中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院博士研究生毕业，2002至2003年在法国国家科研中心暨巴黎十一大计算机试验室从事博士后研究。曾多次访问香港大学、香港科技大学和美国佐治亚州立大学。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目7项，在JCTB, JGT, SIAM DM等杂志发表论文40余篇。
