五、摘要

We will give an overview on the recent research progress of several basic questions related to measure of noncompactness (MNC) in Banach spaces, including (1) a triple order-preserving embedding theorem; (2) representation and construction problems of MNC, (3) existence problem of inequivalent regular MNCs, (4) countable determination problem of the Kuratowski MNC, (5) independence of the generalized Cantor intersection property assumption in definition of non-full MNC, (6) a basic integral inequality related to solvability of a Cauchy problem in Banach spaces.

六、主讲人简介

程立新博士，厦门大学陈景润特聘教授。专业方向：泛函分析、 凸分析、Banach空间几何、非线性几何。2002年入选教育部跨世纪人才培养计划。发表学术论文逾100篇。主持包括国家自然科学基金重点项目和教育部主要科研项目在内的国家基金项目12项。指导博士生33人。曾到美国西雅图华盛顿大学数学系等十七个国家和地区三十多所高校和科研机构科研合作和学术访问。曾二十多次被邀请作国际学术会议和全国性学术会议的大会报告。分别获得福建省科学技术二等奖（2002）和福建省自然科学二等奖（2018）。
