五、摘要
Circle packings are configurations of circles with specified patterns and have found both theoretical and practical applications in a wide variety of venues such as complex analysis, computational geometry and combinatorics. In this talk I will give a survey on some nonlinear methods in circle packing theory. These include continuity method, variational principle, topological degree theory and intersection number technique. I will explain how these methods can be applied to studying Koebe-Andreev-Thurson theorem, Midscribability theorem and their generalizations.
六、主讲人简介
周泽,湖南大学数学与统计学院副教授。2015年博士毕业于中科院数学研究所,导师为刘劲松研究员。主要从事复分析方向的研究,获得第十二届钟家庆数学奖。主持或参与多项国家基金委项目。在Invent. Math., Amer. J. Math., Adv. Math.等国际著名期刊上发表论文多篇。
