In this talk we consider the comparison of lengths of closed geodesics on hyperbolic tori with one geometric boundary component; precisely, these include the comparison of minima of equal lengths of a pair of simple closed geodesics on a hyperbolic torus as the torus runs over its relative Teichmuller space, as well as some conjectures on the monotone properties of the lengths of certain closed geodesics on the most symmetric hyperbolic tori.

张影，苏州大学数学科学学院教授，研究方向为几何拓扑学，研究工作包括双曲锥曲面上的测地线实现、双曲环面的特征簇的几何与拓扑、McShane恒等式的推广、四维双曲空间的三角学等。
