五、主讲人简介

周泽，湖南大学副教授。2015年博士毕业于中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院。主要研究方向为圆堆积、复分析以及低维几何与拓扑。第十二届钟家庆数学奖获得者，曾获颁2016年中国科技新锐人物突出贡献奖。在Inventiones Mathematicae等杂志发表高水平论文多篇。

六、摘要

In this talk, I will give a survey on some nonlinear methods in discrete geometry. This includes the following parts: 1. Maximum principle; 2. Continuity method; 3. Topological degree method; 4. Intersection number theory. Applying these methods, we shall obtain many interesting results, such as Birkhoff’s billiard theorem, Cyclic polygon theorem, Circle packing theorem, Midscribability theorem and so on. If time permits, I will also introduce the flow method to find these solutions.
